The crowd rose to their feet as Sitges FC's Larry Herrera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Taurino Bellido. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gorri Fonticoba to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Shelfester United defense, Larry Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taurino Bellido. The Shelfester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taurino Bellido should have stopped the shot. Montrel Guijarro was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Gregory Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gregory Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 7-3. Sitges FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
