Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matias Coira started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz March in the 4th minute of play forced RS Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Dantel Leyva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Matias Coira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ascencio Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Tomi Manrique was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carlet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RS Fuenlabrada the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carlet's Tomi Manrique got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Matias Coira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ascencio Reyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 24 minutes of play, RS Fuenlabrada's Matias Coira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ascencio Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Desiderio Beloki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Desiderio Beloki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Olaf Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dantel Leyva. RS Fuenlabrada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olaf Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Ascencio Reyes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Coira's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Matias Coira made a precise shot to the right of Ascencio Reyes. Carlet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. After 43 played minutes Carlet got a freekick which was hit by Jacques Japón. The Carlet players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RS Fuenlabrada were winning 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cruz March to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Beloki in the 52nd minute of play forced Carlet's goalkeeper Ascencio Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Coira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ascencio Reyes made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Miguel Constancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ascencio Reyes managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when RS Fuenlabrada's Matias Coira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 63 minutes, Miguel Constancio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RS Fuenlabrada and the Carlet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes RS Fuenlabrada got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Constancio. Matias Coira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Ascencio Reyes 67 minutes into the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Matias Coira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carlet's Ascencio Reyes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benet Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Coira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. RS Fuenlabrada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 85th minute, Carlet's Santiago Portillo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Santiago Portillo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carlet protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Santiago Portillo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Carlet:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RS Fuenlabrada:s goal. Jairo Cheche took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ascencio Reyes. Carlet's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute Txema Idiaquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dantel Leyva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ascencio Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bitxintxo Benítez went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-10 was the resulting score. Matias Coira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ascencio Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Carlet's defense didn't have a chance, in the 99th minute, when Desiderio Beloki scored to the left of an out of position Ascencio Reyes, making the score, 1-11.
