Carlet's Ascencio Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jokin De Pablo in the 4th minute of play. Aita Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Ascencio Reyes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. C.D. Alhaurino's Ciceron Incera pulled a muscle in his leg after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. C.D. Alhaurino's Balesio Quintanilla was substituted for Ciceron Incera. In the 28th minute, Balesio Quintanilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Carlet's goalkeeper Ascencio Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aita Santos. 33 minutes into the game, Aita Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ascencio Reyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aita Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ascencio Reyes having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Cruz March got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jokin De Pablo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ascencio Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jokin De Pablo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Carlet's Santiago Portillo got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cruz March was the one to do the kick off. C.D. Alhaurino's Florian Garate quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vladimiro Parra, made in the 52nd minute of the game. A collision led to C.D. Alhaurino getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Florian Garate hit a great ball. Jokin De Pablo succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Carlet's Ascencio Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aita Santos in the 61st minute of play. Jokin De Pablo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ascencio Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. Alhaurino. In the 65th minute Jokin De Pablo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ascencio Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, C.D. Alhaurino's Jokin De Pablo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ascencio Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jokin De Pablo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ascencio Reyes having to interfere. In the 79th minute Aita Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ascencio Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Carlet's goal looked a bit too open when Aita Santos came free, but Ascencio Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jokin De Pablo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ascencio Reyes saved Carlet from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Lalo Lillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Alhaurino's supporters rose to their feet, but Lalo Lillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ascencio Reyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Aita Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ascencio Reyes was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Ascencio Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jokin De Pablo in the 91st minute of the match. The C.D. Alhaurino fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when C.D. Alhaurino's Aita Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. C.D. Alhaurino walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
