Gartzen Laredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gentza Olmedo's late challenge caught a Santa Ana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gentza Olmedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Santa Ana booed when Olivella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 18th minute of the match, Aita Benítez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adelio Castelao was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute, Olivella AFC's Gabri Espinosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adelio Castelao. Adelio Castelao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Olivella AFC's zone, Gartzen Laredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montxo De Pedro came out of the goal and Gartzen Laredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tristan Valverde's late challenge caught a Olivella AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristan Valverde helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Santa Ana's Tristan Valverde got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jorge Urruti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelio Castelao having to interfere. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gartzen Laredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Urruti charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Urruti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Santa Ana booed when Olivella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Urruti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Aita Benítez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivella AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A sloppy throw-in by Toni Mendez in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Santa Ana's Tristan Valverde. Montxo De Pedro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gartzen Laredo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Olivella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabri Espinosa. In the 69th minute of the match Nastasio Patiño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Montxo De Pedro skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Ana's zone, Aita Benítez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelio Castelao came out of the goal and Aita Benítez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gartzen Laredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montxo De Pedro having to interfere. If William De Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Gartzen Laredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Ana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gartzen Laredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tristan Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivella AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santa Ana for a fine match.
