Blasco Dorado's late challenge caught a RS Fuenlabrada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blasco Dorado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RS Fuenlabrada booed when El Gremio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blasco Dorado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Bitxintxo Benítez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of El Gremio's Delmiro Rico. Delmiro Rico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amador Benito came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delmiro Rico could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Matias Coira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Rico. El Gremio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Coira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 28 minutes into the game, Matias Coira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delmiro Rico. Matias Coira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Tino Barberá might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dantel Leyva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tino Barberá ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Tacito De Toro with Amador Benito as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tino Barberá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dantel Leyva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Coira made a kick off. Dantel Leyva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blasco Dorado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tino Barberá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dantel Leyva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of El Gremio booed when RS Fuenlabrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Matias Coira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Rico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tacito De Toro made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Gremio's Bernal Ladra. 80 minutes into the match, Bitxintxo Benítez notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of El Gremio's Delmiro Rico. Delmiro Rico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Bitxintxo Benítez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmiro Rico was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 87 minutes into the game, Bitxintxo Benítez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Delmiro Rico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matias Coira scored 10-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Rico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RS Fuenlabrada fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Gremio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
