Renato Casals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitxel Dulce having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Herrera during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Gremio getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Honorio Herrera hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Asier Odín made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Rico. El Gremio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. El Gremio's Delmiro Rico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save El Gremio from getting a goal against them. When José Patiño fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Gremio's protests and gave José Patiño a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, José Patiño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Gremio's Delmiro Rico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save El Gremio from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, El Gremio's Delmiro Rico got control of the ball when Maurin Harroyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Maestro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitxel Dulce having to interfere. The Usansolo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
