Xorxa F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RS Fuenlabrada the free kick. Arbidel Patiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Constancio in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Xorxa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matias Coira came free, but Arbidel Patiño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Abrego kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Matias Coira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Coira in the 75th minute of play forced Xorxa F.C.'s goalkeeper Arbidel Patiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Beloki might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arbidel Patiño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Beloki ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Coira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arbidel Patiño having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RS Fuenlabrada fully deserved thier win.
