Ascencio Reyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 35 minutes into the match, Carlet's goalkeeper Ascencio Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Coira. A hard shot 36 in the game by Matias Coira from a close distance when the talented Ascencio Reyes managed to make a qualified save. Carlet's players were relieved. Desiderio Beloki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ascencio Reyes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bitxintxo Benítez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 41 minute of play.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ascencio Reyes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Desiderio Beloki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ascencio Reyes. Carlet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Beloki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. 83 minutes into the game, Jairo Cheche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RS Fuenlabrada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlet the free kick. 87 minutes into the match, Carlet's goal looked a bit too open when Bitxintxo Benítez came free, but Ascencio Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlet's Ascencio Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Beloki in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Bitxintxo Benítez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ascencio Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dantel Leyva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz March, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Bitxintxo Benítez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RS Fuenlabrada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1.
