Quentin Saboya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Joel Domenech blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quentin Saboya having to make a save. Quentin Saboya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Cardeñosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. René Tobias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Quentin Saboya made a huge save. Quentin Saboya was a little too slow when Joel Domenech got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 4-0. Quentin Saboya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Domenech in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

PHOENIX BLACK's Gumersindo Guasch was substituted for Rodolfo Valdés. The Markel F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin Saboya should have stopped the shot. Cordero Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Carballido having to interfere. After some careless play in the Markel F.C defense, Vaden Coya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quentin Saboya. The Markel F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin Saboya should have stopped the shot. Joel Domenech scored 7-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quentin Saboya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quentin Saboya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaden Coya, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Matthew Cardeñosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. PHOENIX BLACK's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Cardeñosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Saboya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
