With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicholas Novo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kobe Vrancken saved Gadir from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zenon Marques got free with Reno Valverde in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Zenon Marques put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reno Valverde. In the 18th minute, Gadir's Zenon Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reno Valverde. Reno Valverde yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Urtzi Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes La Cerradura UD got a freekick which was hit by Tito Navas. If Zenon Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gadir's Kobe Vrancken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillen Mangas in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Guillen Mangas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kobe Vrancken was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Zenon Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Reno Valverde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicholas Novo was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Felipe Montes put in a rough tackle. Kobe Vrancken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Novo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kobe Vrancken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Novo in the 60th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, La Cerradura UD's Kobe Vrancken threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicholas Novo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in La Cerradura UD's zone, Silban Salan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reno Valverde came out of the goal and Silban Salan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kobe Vrancken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Novo in the 72nd minute of the match. Kobe Vrancken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillen Mangas in the 75th minute. Silban Salan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Reno Valverde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Novo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Kobe Vrancken when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gadir's Kobe Vrancken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Gadir from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, La Cerradura UD's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Marques came free, but Reno Valverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute La Cerradura UD were awarded a corner. Ugaitz Zafrilla went to the cornerflag to take it. Paco Valerón tried in the game's 88th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Kobe Vrancken. An annoying self made goal, 3-2. Kobe Vrancken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicholas Novo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The supporters of La Cerradura UD booed when Gadir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Puyol didn't get a good kick on the ball.
