Raúl Hevia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Herauso Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tristan Cayuela. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. When Raúl Hevia fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguiluchos's protests and gave Raúl Hevia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aguiluchos getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Raúl Hevia hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Gavarra CD got a freekick which was hit by Henric Feal. Raúl Hevia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Cayuela having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Aguiluchos got a freekick which was hit by Luis Raya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Mayor in the 31st minute of play forced Aguiluchos's goalkeeper Silvano Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Eusebio Castellano put in a rough tackle. After 35 played minutes Aguiluchos got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Castellano. Silvano Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Dionisio Villar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gavarra CD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Dionisio Villar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Gorka Casta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xurde Sauca scored 1-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvano Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raúl Hevia was the one to do the kick off. Silvano Alonso made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Valery Mayor sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Aguiluchos's goalkeeper Silvano Alonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valery Mayor. Jokin Vallejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tristan Cayuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Timo Gil from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Silvano Alonso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Gavarra CD's Gorka Casta in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aguiluchos's goalie prevented a goal. If Raúl Hevia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Aguiluchos's Silvano Alonso got control of the ball when Valery Mayor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aguiluchos's Silvano Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorka Casta in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Gorka Casta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvano Alonso, 1-3. Raúl Hevia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Villar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Jokin Vallejo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batista Viejo in the 91st minute of play forced Gavarra CD's goalkeeper Tristan Cayuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Dionisio Villar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Hevia took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Cayuela. Tristan Cayuela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Gavarra CD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
