Mitos SD's Ján Čillík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mel Macho in the 19th minute of play. Alfonso Albizua's late challenge caught a Mendeica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Albizua helped the player get up and apologised. Alfonso Albizua kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Tito Verdu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mendeica's Nayely Bravo. Nayely Bravo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis-Jose Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Čillík having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Louis Vives managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendeica's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Vives was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ján Čillík breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Abel Pardo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Pardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Pardo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With his leg Ján Čillík managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Mendeica's Luis-Jose Lillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Mitos SD's Alfonso Albizua got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mendeica's Luis-Jose Lillo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mitos SD. After a rather tough play, Mitos SD's Alfonso Albizua got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ján Čillík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mel Macho in the 67th minute of play. If Chus Ortega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Luis-Jose Lillo in the 71stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ján Čillík had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ján Čillík was a little too slow when Louis Vives got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Luis-Jose Lillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ján Čillík having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Sancho Verdaguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis-Jose Lillo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Mendeica's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luis-Jose Lillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Louis Vives kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ján Čillík. That made the score 1-4 in the 94 minute of play. Mendeica played a much better game than Mitos SD and deserved their victory. The Mitos SD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
