Nayely Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Jurado, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Eusebio Jurado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nayely Bravo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Eusebio Jurado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nayely Bravo. Pericles Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Luis-Jose Lillo in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joan Pastor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Tonio Lara fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mendeica's protests and gave Tonio Lara a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Jurado was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Xove Gonzalez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D.Leon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mendeica the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mel Macho in the 63rd minute of play forced C.D.Leon's goalkeeper Joan Pastor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Luis-Jose Lillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joan Pastor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis-Jose Lillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.D.Leon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
