Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herauso Ramos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Aguiluchos's goalkeeper Silvano Alonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Maldonado. The crowd rose to their feet as Oswaldo Maldonado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvano Alonso. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Herauso Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Mitos SD getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Joaquin Pascual hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Raúl Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Čillík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Herauso Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tito Verdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mitos SD's Bernabel Peña got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Elvis Murcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguiluchos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvis Murcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alfonso Albizua fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mitos SD's protests and gave Alfonso Albizua a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mitos SD getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alfonso Albizua hit a great ball. Silvano Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oswaldo Maldonado in the 33rd minute. In the 37th match minute, Aguiluchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Raya to maneuver through the defense. Abel Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Silvano Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Maldonado made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Oswaldo Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Herauso Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jokin Vallejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Čillík having to interfere. Aguiluchos's Luis Raya quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Taurino Aceves, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 67th minute Oswaldo Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitos SD's Ján Čillík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batista Viejo in the 68th minute of play. Oswaldo Maldonado scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvano Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ján Čillík was a little too slow when Herauso Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Raúl Hevia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Hevia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabel Peña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Alonso having to interfere. Aguiluchos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
