Las Norias's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Guadajira CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venceslás Verdu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Las Norias defense, Fix Pais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richie Palacios. The Las Norias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richie Palacios should have stopped the shot. Wilfredo Gabas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Las Norias's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Las Norias's Ferdinand Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elazar Puig hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Solustiano Castaño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guadajira CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Norias the free kick. The supporters of Las Norias booed when Guadajira CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Solustiano Castaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Las Norias's Richie Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fix Pais in the 35th minute of play. Ferdinand Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ciro Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Solustiano Castaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Palacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Las Norias players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guadajira CD were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Gabas to strike the kick off in the second half. 1-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Ferdinand Montes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fix Pais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richie Palacios having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Las Norias's Gaizka Diaz got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Guadajira CD's Fix Pais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richie Palacios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fix Pais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Gabas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guadajira CD's Ciro Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Montes in the 75th minute of play. When Solustiano Castaño came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Guadajira CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Solustiano Castaño couldn't finish the play. Ciro Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Gabas in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Las Norias's Ferdinand Montes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
