Joan Benito was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Pancho Japón, was totally fooled by Masegoso's Dino Soto, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Malon getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Baiardo Japón hit a great ball. Arbidel Ecija's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pancho Japón firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Nahia Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Goren Cano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bautista Castellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, Masegoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Doblas to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, Malon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xelo Bartumeu to maneuver through the defense. Bautista Castellano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Goren Cano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bautista Castellano to make the kick off. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Masegoso's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Contratas came free, but Goren Cano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arbidel Ecija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Malon booed when Masegoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gorka Guijarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Anton Contratas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goren Cano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xelo Bartumeu charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xelo Bartumeu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xelo Bartumeu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Ospin Verdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Masegoso the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Malon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Masegoso:s goal. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Masegoso. Dino Soto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pancho Japón. 2-0. With a little luck, Masegoso's Goren Cano got control of the ball when Bautista Castellano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Masegoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Griego to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Masegoso had won after a very even match.
