XEREZ C.D's Iosu Nadal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save XEREZ C.D from getting a goal against them. If Abarrotz De Paula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alcadio Escurza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes in the game, Ciriaco Pacheco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Iosu Nadal having to interfere. Iosu Nadal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute Ciriaco Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosu Nadal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Alavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abarrotz De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Abarrotz De Paula struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Isaias Alavedra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XEREZ C.D. For all the effort they put into the match, the XEREZ C.D players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Ibias.
