Armando Cano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Barro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Barro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Pancho Japón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abdiz. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Salvador Font put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Pancho Japón. Although Abdiz had been in control for most of the match, Malon still came away with the win.
