Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fidel Revuelta started the match with the kick off. OLD KABUTO TEAM's Benvido Sauca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcadio Escurza in the 3rd minute of play. Benvido Sauca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abarrotz De Paula's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Alcadio Escurza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLD KABUTO TEAM's Benvido Sauca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abarrotz De Paula in the 18th minute of play forced OLD KABUTO TEAM's goalkeeper Benvido Sauca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Revuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosu Nadal having to interfere. Iosu Nadal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Revuelta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, OLD KABUTO TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Alcadio Escurza came free, but Benvido Sauca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Gandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosu Nadal having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xelo Bajo during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of OLD KABUTO TEAM booed when XEREZ C.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xelo Bajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Revuelta in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iosu Nadal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Revuelta in the 52nd minute of play forced XEREZ C.D's goalkeeper Iosu Nadal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to XEREZ C.D getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Xelo Bajo hit a great ball. Benvido Sauca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcadio Escurza in the 55th minute of the match. Benvido Sauca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcadio Escurza in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes OLD KABUTO TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Serena. Xelo Bajo was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th minute, Xelo Bajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosu Nadal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isandro Galnares, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Fidel Revuelta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosu Nadal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fidel Revuelta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Fidel Revuelta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Isandro Galnares came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the OLD KABUTO TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isandro Galnares couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Alcadio Escurza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XEREZ C.D's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLD KABUTO TEAM the free kick. In the 80th minute, Alcadio Escurza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Gandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abarrotz De Paula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benvido Sauca having to interfere. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by XEREZ C.D's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tuste Sacristán was slow to take the kick. During this time OLD KABUTO TEAM's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tuste Sacristán almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but XEREZ C.D's Iosu Nadal did a great save. OLD KABUTO TEAM were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing XEREZ C.D to leave the ground with a draw.
