Abdiz's Armando Cano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Jaraba in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Comparsa FC's zone, Teofilo Soto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santi Santalla came out of the goal and Teofilo Soto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes Abdiz got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Soldado. If Xaiver Saavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santi Santalla had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Xaiver Saavedra's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Ariando Esperta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ariando Esperta came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Comparsa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariando Esperta couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Abdiz's Mauricio Soldado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes, Comparsa FC's Tolino Sauca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Cano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Comparsa FC reached it. In the 95th minute, Salvador Font ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santi Santalla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Abdiz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
