In the 6thth minute of the game Salvador Font who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XEREZ C.D's Iosu Nadal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Abdiz's goalkeeper Armando Cano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renaldo Taules. Abarrotz De Paula charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abarrotz De Paula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abarrotz De Paula kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. XEREZ C.D's Iosu Nadal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rexino Lama in the 12th minute of play. Rexino Lama might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iosu Nadal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rexino Lama ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Cano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcadio Escurza in the 22nd minute of play. Abarrotz De Paula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Armando Cano made a huge save. After 28 minutes, Xelo Bajo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XEREZ C.D and the Abdiz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Abdiz booed when XEREZ C.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xelo Bajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosu Nadal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in XEREZ C.D's zone, Teofilo Soto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosu Nadal came out of the goal and Teofilo Soto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Salvador Font had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Abdiz fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Abdiz's Salvador Font looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the match, Abdiz's goalkeeper Armando Cano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abarrotz De Paula. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Teofilo Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abdiz's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Soto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosu Nadal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, Malvin Montiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XEREZ C.D's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abdiz the free kick. After 46 played minutes XEREZ C.D got a freekick which was hit by Malvin Montiel. If Teofilo Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alcadio Escurza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salvador Font received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Iosu Nadal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. XEREZ C.D's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Salvador Font 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Armando Cano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcadio Escurza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute Alcadio Escurza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, XEREZ C.D's Alcadio Escurza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Cano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 68 played minutes XEREZ C.D got a freekick which was hit by Xelo Bajo. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Teofilo Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 94th match minute, Abdiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramond Macho to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes, XEREZ C.D's Xarles Villanueva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Cano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in XEREZ C.D reached it. When the final whistle sounded Abdiz left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than XEREZ C.D.
