In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albacete Balompié's goalkeeper Giro Idiaquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angel Buendia hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Tuste Sacristán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes, Albacete Balompié's Ximo Diaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benvido Sauca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Albacete Balompié reached it. Giro Idiaquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Revuelta went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Gandia in the 20th minute of play forced Albacete Balompié's goalkeeper Giro Idiaquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Fidel Revuelta put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Giro Idiaquez. After 30 played minutes Angel Buendia rounded OLD KABUTO TEAM's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Giro Idiaquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Gandia went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Revuelta in the 41st minute of play forced Albacete Balompié's goalkeeper Giro Idiaquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Buendia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Benvido Sauca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaztea Alarcon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Revuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giro Idiaquez having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Hanot Feliu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albacete Balompié and the OLD KABUTO TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Albacete Balompié's Hanot Feliu got a free kick in the 56th minute. Isandro Galnares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Fidel Revuelta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Revuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giro Idiaquez having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Gaztea Alarcon made a precise shot to the right of Benvido Sauca. OLD KABUTO TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Albacete Balompié's Elazar Harroyo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ted Yeste in the 77 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Albacete Balompié's zone, Fidel Revuelta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giro Idiaquez came out of the goal and Fidel Revuelta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaztea Alarcon took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benvido Sauca. Benvido Sauca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Albacete Balompié succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though OLD KABUTO TEAM had controlled the match.
