Julio Gibert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Oleg Mamin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, U.E. Tarraco's goalkeeper Oleg Mamin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Gibert. If Alfonso Soprano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Comparsa FC's Ubaldo Valerón got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ariando Esperta hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, U.E. Tarraco's Alfonso Soprano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santi Santalla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. U.E. Tarraco made a substitution. Enol Rienda replaced Clemente Cao. Comparsa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tolino Sauca in the 29th minute. Santi Santalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tjorven Sproten in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Comparsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Soprano came free, but Santi Santalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Tjorven Sproten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolino Sauca kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Alfonso Soprano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.E. Tarraco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half U.E. Tarraco were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Soprano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Soprano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Santi Santalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. U.E. Tarraco's Oleg Mamin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariando Esperta in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Alfonso Soprano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Santi Santalla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Comparsa FC defense, Tjorven Sproten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santi Santalla. The Comparsa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santi Santalla should have stopped the shot. Sofronio Valverde struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Santi Santalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.E. Tarraco. 64 minutes into the match, Comparsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Soprano came free, but Santi Santalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Comparsa FC's zone, Elpidio Castaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santi Santalla came out of the goal and Elpidio Castaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santi Santalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Soprano in the 68th minute of the match. U.E. Tarraco's attentive Enol Rienda managed to snatch the ball when Turi Clemente made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Soprano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santi Santalla was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Elpidio Castaño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Santi Santalla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santi Santalla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Santi Santalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Soprano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santi Santalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Soprano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Comparsa FC's Santi Santalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Soprano in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Alfonso Soprano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santi Santalla. Alfonso Soprano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. U.E. Tarraco's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
