Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manel Bencoiechea took the kick off in the first half of the match. Xelo Bartumeu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Ramone Riells hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manel Bencoiechea in the 10th minute of play forced XEREZ C.D's goalkeeper Iosu Nadal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When XEREZ C.D's Abarrotz De Paula in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Iosu Nadal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joan Benito. The supporters of XEREZ C.D booed when Malon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramone Riells didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in XEREZ C.D's zone, Xelo Bartumeu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosu Nadal came out of the goal and Xelo Bartumeu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28th play minutes Manel Bencoiechea shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Iosu Nadal and just under the crossbar into goal. Gaizka Feal charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaizka Feal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 33 minutes into the game, one of XEREZ C.D:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. XEREZ C.D's Abarrotz De Paula got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alcadio Escurza made the kick off in the second half. Pancho Japón made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Abarrotz De Paula sent off a good shot on target. If Manel Bencoiechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, one of Malon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 76 minutes into the match, XEREZ C.D's goal looked a bit too open when Bautista Castellano came free, but Iosu Nadal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pancho Japón made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Abarrotz De Paula sent off a good shot on target. Iosu Nadal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bautista Castellano in the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renaldo Taules during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
