Bridgeburners's Tebaldo Uria got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joselito Aguilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaizka Revuelta made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 22ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Marquez Bacete would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 25th minute, Lucio Canosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bridgeburners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th minute, Leocadio Gasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Tebaldo Uria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isauro Aznar was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Bridgeburners's Joselito Aguilo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oton Ruiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucio Canosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tebaldo Uria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isauro Aznar having to make a save. In the 55th minute Joselito Aguilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isauro Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isauro Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlito Figueres, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Zaragoza's Leocadio Gasso got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tebaldo Uria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Isauro Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oton Ruiz took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marquez Bacete. Marquez Bacete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to Real Zaragoza getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Leocadio Gasso hit a great ball. Bridgeburners's Zacarías Arias was substituted for Lucio Canosa. Tebaldo Uria struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Isauro Aznar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgeburners. Isauro Aznar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Real Zaragoza's zone, Joselito Aguilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isauro Aznar came out of the goal and Joselito Aguilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tebaldo Uria scored 1-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isauro Aznar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bridgeburners's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
