After a rather tough play, Palma City's Carmelo Reina got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Marei's goal looked a bit too open when Berenguer Colillas came free, but Demesio Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Balcells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Palma City getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Claus Mangas hit a great ball. Marei's Nacho Espinosa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Uxio Pedraza but with some difficulty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Balcells to make the kick off. Armando Higuera took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uxio Pedraza. Uxio Pedraza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marei's Demesio Aguilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Marei from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Marei's Demesio Aguilo got control of the ball when Berenguer Colillas tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Maldonado in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demesio Aguilo saved Marei from getting behind. After 79 played minutes, Marei's Nacho Espinosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uxio Pedraza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marei reached it. 81 minutes into the match, Palma City's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Marcos came free, but Uxio Pedraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Eusebio Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Demesio Aguilo managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Palma City's Eusebio Maldonado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Anton Prieto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palma City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Marei. Nacho Espinosa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Uxio Pedraza. 2-2. Despite being the better team, Palma City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
