Cai Castan hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Sofronio Canturri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leizarraga Contreras in the 3rd minute. Cai Castan's late challenge caught a UD JuanJo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cai Castan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, JMMA Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cai Castan to maneuver through the defense. Sofronio Canturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Xesus Redondo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sofronio Canturri. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Muno Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltza Gasso having to interfere. After 19 played minutes UD JuanJo got a freekick which was hit by Beltxe Baltanas. A hard shot 24 in the game by Leizarraga Contreras from a close distance when the talented Sofronio Canturri managed to make a qualified save. JMMA Team's players were relieved. When Roger Nadal came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the UD JuanJo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Nadal couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes UD JuanJo got a freekick which was hit by Roger Nadal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Nadal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Velasco Garate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Beltza Gasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Iosu Camarasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beltza Gasso, 1-1. Sofronio Canturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xesus Redondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, UD JuanJo's goalkeeper Beltza Gasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muno Ruiz. JMMA Team's Velasco Garate got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. JMMA Team's Sofronio Canturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Nadal in the 69th minute of play. Sofronio Canturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertran Aceves, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Velasco Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltza Gasso having to interfere. In the 79th minute of the match Fonso Idiaquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sofronio Canturri skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leizarraga Contreras in the 83rd minute of play forced JMMA Team's goalkeeper Sofronio Canturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, JMMA Team's goal looked a bit too open when Leizarraga Contreras came free, but Sofronio Canturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosu Camarasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Beltza Gasso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 88 minutes, Xesus Redondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD JuanJo and the JMMA Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, UD JuanJo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xesus Redondo to maneuver through the defense. Sofronio Canturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Muno Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the UD JuanJo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
