Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Josan Raptors's Benigno Teruel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Eusebio Maldonado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Frechoso Buendia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute Carmelo Reina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frechoso Buendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berenguer Colillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frechoso Buendia having to interfere. Artzai Leyva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Uxio Pedraza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Artzai Leyva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Teruel in the 24th minute of play forced Palma City's goalkeeper Uxio Pedraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Benigno Teruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uxio Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Artzai Leyva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Berenguer Colillas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frechoso Buendia was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Carmelo Reina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Frechoso Buendia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uxio Pedraza came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Josan Raptors's Artzai Leyva. But to his dismay, Artzai Leyva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Uxio Pedraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Teruel in the 41st minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Palma City's Berenguer Colillas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frechoso Buendia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Josan Raptors's zone, Berenguer Colillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frechoso Buendia came out of the goal and Berenguer Colillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebio Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frechoso Buendia having to interfere. After the first half Palma City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Carmelo Reina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uxio Pedraza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artzai Leyva, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of Palma City booed when Josan Raptors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Teruel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berenguer Colillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frechoso Buendia having to interfere. When Palma City's Eusebio Maldonado in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Josan Raptors's goalie prevented a goal. When Eusebio Maldonado came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Palma City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Maldonado couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Josan Raptors getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mario Dominguez hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Benigno Teruel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Josan Raptors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After having played for 82 minutes, Berenguer Colillas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palma City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berenguer Colillas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bermudo Lermo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Eusebio Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frechoso Buendia stood somewhat misplaced when Eusebio Maldonado came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 89 minute. 95 minutes into the match, Palma City's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Teruel came free, but Uxio Pedraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palma City played a much better game than Josan Raptors and deserved their victory. The Josan Raptors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
