Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cordario Barro started the match with the kick off. Anartz Helguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sylwester Zabrzeski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benjamin Mora fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luesia's protests and gave Benjamin Mora a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Cordario Barro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luesia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordario Barro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordario Barro in the 13th minute of play forced CF Badalona's goalkeeper Sylwester Zabrzeski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rufo Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luesia's Ekaitz Barba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorri Alvarez in the 17th minute of play. William Gene struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ekaitz Barba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Badalona. 19 minutes into the match, William Gene had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ekaitz Barba. Luesia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Gene was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Castan during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristobal Castan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Antonio Feria kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordario Barro in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Zabrzeski saved CF Badalona from getting behind. Ekaitz Barba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Gene's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufo Mezquita in the 30th minute of play forced Luesia's goalkeeper Ekaitz Barba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekaitz Barba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Gene in the 31st minute of the match. Sylwester Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordario Barro in the 37th minute of the match. Cristobal Castan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sylwester Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordario Barro in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Luesia got a corner. CF Badalona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Casals ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Luesia's corner Roberto Casals fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sylwester Zabrzeski quite easily take care of the ball. Ekaitz Barba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufo Mezquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekaitz Barba stood somewhat misplaced when William Gene came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Sylwester Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordario Barro in the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Gene in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekaitz Barba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Luesia booed when CF Badalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nerio Aceves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes CF Badalona got a freekick which was hit by Nerio Aceves. If Gorri Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anartz Helguera in the 80th minute of play. After 85 played minutes CF Badalona got a freekick which was hit by Lonzo Ucero. In the 85th minute of the match Roberto Casals sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sylwester Zabrzeski skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gorri Alvarez got free with Ekaitz Barba in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Gene had several of the Luesia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Ekaitz Barba as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gorri Alvarez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Luesia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CF Badalona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
