Fermín Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Atilano Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sajazarra fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Sajazarra's Atilano Barral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Atilano Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubarna Ucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Cifuentes in the 25th minute of the match. Racing Almozara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Atilano Barral scored to the left of an out of position Geofredo Ortiz, making the score, 2-0. Geofredo Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Campoamor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Geofredo Ortiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lluc Gene was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Demario Vuelta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ubarna Ucero. That made the score 2-1 in the 53 minute of play. Alvino Teresa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Geofredo Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Campoamor in the 57th minute of the match. 3-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Hugo Campoamor elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Atilano Barral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Almozara's Geofredo Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Campoamor scored 4-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geofredo Ortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Racing Almozara getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dimo Idiaquez hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Sajazarra got a freekick which was hit by Brais Treviño. When Atilano Barral came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sajazarra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Barral couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Racing Almozara's Garikoitz Santander got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 91 played minutes, Racing Almozara's Alvino Teresa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ubarna Ucero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing Almozara reached it. Demario Vuelta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Barral in the 97th minute of play forced Racing Almozara's goalkeeper Geofredo Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
