Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atilano Barral made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordario Barro in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubarna Ucero saved Sajazarra from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anartz Helguera in the 7th minute of play forced Sajazarra's goalkeeper Ubarna Ucero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anartz Helguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sajazarra's Ubarna Ucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordario Barro in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Dorado during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hugo Dorado hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anartz Helguera in the 15th minute of play forced Sajazarra's goalkeeper Ubarna Ucero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Castan during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Luesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Castan to maneuver through the defense. Cordario Barro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubarna Ucero having to interfere. A collision led to Sajazarra getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bertin Rallo hit a great ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sajazarra's goalkeeper Ubarna Ucero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Atilano Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Campoamor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ekaitz Barba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Barral struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ekaitz Barba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sajazarra. 39 minutes into the game, Brais Treviño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sajazarra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luesia the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Sajazarra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brais Treviño to maneuver through the defense. Ubarna Ucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anartz Helguera in the 41st minute of the match. If Anartz Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Sajazarra's goal looked a bit too open when Anartz Helguera came free, but Ubarna Ucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Anartz Helguera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luesia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anartz Helguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordario Barro to make the kick off. If Anartz Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordario Barro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordario Barro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubarna Ucero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Cordario Barro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ubarna Ucero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Sajazarra's zone, Cordario Barro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubarna Ucero came out of the goal and Cordario Barro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lluc Gene took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ekaitz Barba. Luesia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ekaitz Barba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Campoamor went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Luesia's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Barral came free, but Ekaitz Barba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Sajazarra got a corner. Luesia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lluc Gene ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lluc Gene made a great header on Sajazarra's corner, it was just that Luesia's Ekaitz Barba managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Cordario Barro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ubarna Ucero to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Cordario Barro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubarna Ucero was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Cordario Barro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
