Bernardo Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jusepe Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Real sociedad getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bernardo Valverde hit a great ball. Cordero Amer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Fresnos having to make a save. After a rather tough play, real laxe sad's Roque Dean got a free kick in the 26th minute. Cristian Fresnos was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Jusepe Alfaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jusepe Alfaro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bernardo Valverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cristian Fresnos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pierres Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Real sociedad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierres Quiroga couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, real laxe sad's Cristian Fresnos got control of the ball when Bernardo Valverde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Fresnos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Alcaraz in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, real laxe sad's goalkeeper Cristian Fresnos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cordero Amer. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Silvestre Soldado made the kick off in the second half. Cordero Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cristian Fresnos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Real sociedad's Bernardo Valverde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Fresnos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Fresnos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordero Amer in the 61st minute of the match. Roque Dean hit a great ball. real laxe sad's Cristian Fresnos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordero Amer in the 64th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, real laxe sad's goal looked a bit too open when Pierres Quiroga came free, but Cristian Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes real laxe sad got a freekick which was hit by Tuste Clos. If Pierres Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mino Alcaraz in the 90th minute of play forced real laxe sad's goalkeeper Cristian Fresnos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bernardo Valverde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real sociedad's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Valverde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Fresnos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pierres Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real sociedad had played much better football throughout.
