In the 19th minute, Edelmiro Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haimar Echavarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferran Dias in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Pericles Irureta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haimar Echavarri was relentless in the 25th minute of the game.
