After 15 minutes of play, Armallones's Dante Lazcano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Noya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cordeiro Aguilo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Cordero Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alketas Tzolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Valverde struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alketas Tzolis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real sociedad. When Armallones's Hugo Mudarra in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real sociedad's goalie prevented a goal. Artemio Noya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Lazcano went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Artemio Noya managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Armallones's Dante Lazcano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Egoitz was the one to do the kick off. If Lisandro Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Cordero Amer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Egoitz in the 63rd minute of play forced Real sociedad's goalkeeper Artemio Noya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Noya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Silvestre in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Real sociedad getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aranguiz Harroyo hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Real sociedad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epicuro Castro to maneuver through the defense. Cordero Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Tzolis having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Real sociedad got a freekick which was hit by Anchel Prieto. Hugo Mudarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armallones's Lisandro Egoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Armallones fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real sociedad had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
