When Maximiliano Aguilar fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAR LA PEPI's protests and gave Maximiliano Aguilar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BAR LA PEPI's Maximiliano Aguilar got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Typhon Paris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtic de Sarda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, BAR LA PEPI's goal looked a bit too open when Typhon Paris came free, but Benedicto Jubera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the BAR LA PEPI defense, Typhon Paris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Jubera. The BAR LA PEPI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Jubera should have stopped the shot. Baudelio Quintana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ion Quintas having to make a save. Ion Quintas made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Maximiliano Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. Benedicto Jubera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesor Zubizarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Florinio Cardeñosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Celtic de Sarda got a freekick which was hit by Nesor Zubizarreta. BAR LA PEPI's Lander Sauca got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The BAR LA PEPI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Celtic de Sarda were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Typhon Paris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Celtic de Sarda's zone, Baudelio Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Quintas came out of the goal and Baudelio Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Celtic de Sarda's goalkeeper Ion Quintas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Celtic de Sarda's goal looked a bit too open when Baudelio Quintana came free, but Ion Quintas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lander Sauca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ion Quintas. Celtic de Sarda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lander Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mingo Obis during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, BAR LA PEPI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mingo Obis to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Octavio Acarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Jubera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Celtic de Sarda's Benedicto Jubera threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florinio Cardeñosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mingo Obis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. The supporters of Celtic de Sarda booed when BAR LA PEPI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mingo Obis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Florinio Cardeñosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Jubera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Celtic de Sarda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Celtic de Sarda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
