Spectators: 7655 (Terracing: 5743, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cordero Amer got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Cordero Amer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laércio Macedo. Poqueira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cordero Amer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Cordero Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real sociedad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordero Amer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cordero Amer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan-Francisco Casals's late challenge caught a Real sociedad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan-Francisco Casals helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Juan-Francisco Casals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordero Amer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laércio Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Pierres Quiroga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reynaldo Gonzalvez's late challenge caught a Real sociedad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Gonzalvez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Real sociedad booed when Poqueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Gonzalvez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Pierres Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Zbigniew Chmelyk rounded Real sociedad's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Chmelyk in the 36th minute of play forced Real sociedad's goalkeeper Artemio Noya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Juan-Francisco Casals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordero Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Laércio Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Mino Alcaraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real sociedad's supporters rose to their feet, but Mino Alcaraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordero Amer in the 46th minute of play forced Poqueira FC's goalkeeper Laércio Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbigniew Chmelyk was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Poqueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aranguiz Harroyo came free, but Laércio Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Macedo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Real sociedad's Aranguiz Harroyo. But to his dismay, Aranguiz Harroyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Cordero Amer came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Real sociedad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordero Amer couldn't finish the play. Cordero Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Macedo having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Anchel Prieto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laércio Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cordero Amer in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anchel Prieto in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laércio Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cordero Amers short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Laércio Macedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Real sociedad played a much better game than Poqueira FC and deserved their victory. The Poqueira FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
