The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celtic de Sarda's Ion Quintas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Quintas in the 5th minute of play. In the 12th minute, C.D. Leon Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, C.D. Salesianos Don Bosco's Leon Fernandez tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Benito Quintas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ion Quintas, 2-0. Luis Merino hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Florinio Cardeñosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivar Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ion Quintas made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Hitzeder Fonticoba sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florinio Cardeñosa was the one to do the kick off. Florinio Cardeñosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olivar Amorebieta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florinio Cardeñosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Imanol Alcantara charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Imanol Alcantara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Celtic de Sarda getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Imanol Alcantara hit a great ball. Benito Quintas might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ion Quintas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Quintas ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Ibanez hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ion Quintas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitzeder Fonticoba in the 63rd minute of the match. C.D. Salesianos Don Bosco's attentive Nesto Quintas managed to snatch the ball when Ovidio Sevilla made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, C.D. Salesianos Don Bosco's Luis Merino got a free kick in the 74th minute. Celtic de Sarda's Florinio Cardeñosa got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Celtic de Sarda's Bernabel Vallejo got a free kick in the 81st minute. When C.D. Salesianos Don Bosco's Benito Quintas in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Benat Antunez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Celtic de Sarda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.D. Salesianos Don Bosco.
