With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xinto Carmona in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quirce Marrero saved Falesia FC from getting behind. Xinto Carmona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Quirce Marrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quirce Marrero made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Sigfrido Jaen sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Falesia FC's Quirce Marrero got control of the ball when Sigfrido Jaen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Falesia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xinto Carmona came free, but Quirce Marrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Falesia FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zuberoa Ribeiro hit a great ball. Quirce Marrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xinto Carmona, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlo Jaen got free with Quirce Marrero in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes Falesia FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Lermo. Sigfrido Jaen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Quirce Marrero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute Xinto Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirce Marrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xinto Carmona in the 38th minute of play forced Falesia FC's goalkeeper Quirce Marrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xinto Carmona was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicodemo Zafrilla in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Quirce Marrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigfrido Jaen went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A.D. Ayna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
