Joanes Veloso's late challenge caught a Carrascosa Del Campo CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joanes Veloso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Corvite's Ernesto Quevedo got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Álvaro Colombatti notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Carrascosa Del Campo CD's Eloy Irureta. Eloy Irureta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nilson Coutinho came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrascosa Del Campo CD's José Barbosa. But to his dismay, José Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Corvite's Nilson Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Marquez in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tabor Quintanilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Irureta was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Carrascosa Del Campo CD's Eloy Irureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tabor Quintanilla in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Corvite's goal looked a bit too open when Aresti Rivera came free, but Nilson Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Carrascosa Del Campo CD's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Griful came free, but Eloy Irureta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Corvite's goalkeeper Nilson Coutinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nilson Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aresti Rivera in the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruy Gala to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Corvite's Ernesto Quevedo got a free kick in the 70th minute. Yoel Ocaña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eloy Irureta. Carrascosa Del Campo CD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Corvite booed when Carrascosa Del Campo CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseba Carceles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tabor Quintanilla in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Irureta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Corvite booed when Carrascosa Del Campo CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aresti Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Tabor Quintanilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Irureta. Carrascosa Del Campo CD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tabor Quintanilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Many of Carrascosa Del Campo CD's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Carrascosa Del Campo CD may have spent more time on the ball, but Corvite were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
