Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicholas Mezquita started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Cloyo Vagrande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carricola UD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Platon Marrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Quirce Marrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesús Lermo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Falesia FC's Jesús Lermo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gregory Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nicholas Mezquita sent off a good shot on target. Falesia FC's Quirce Marrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermelando De la Rosa in the 20th minute of play. Quirce Marrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cloyo Vagrande in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Carricola UD's Platon Marrero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quirce Marrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Falesia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cloyo Vagrande came free, but Quirce Marrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falesia FC's Nicholas Mezquita suffered a fractured collar bone after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 26 minutes, Cloyo Vadillos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carricola UD and the Falesia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute Florin Abrego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirce Marrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cloyo Vagrande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quirce Marrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Quirce Marrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cloyo Vagrande in the 31st minute of the match. Zuberoa Ribeiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Quirce Marrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cloyo Vagrande in the 36th minute of play. If Cloyo Vagrande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Platon Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirce Marrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Platon Marrero took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quirce Marrero. Quirce Marrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Platon Marrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cloyo Vagrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Platon Marrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Falesia FC's goalkeeper Quirce Marrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cloyo Vagrande. Quirce Marrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Platon Marrero in the 67th minute of play. Florin Abrego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirce Marrero having to interfere. A collision led to Falesia FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Zuberoa Ribeiro hit a great ball. Carricola UD's Cloyo Vagrande got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes in the game, Platon Marrero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Quirce Marrero having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Falesia FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Lermo. With splendid footwork Platon Marrero arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 83rd minute. Quirce Marrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Platon Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Quirce Marrero made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Cloyo Vagrande sent off a good shot on target. Platon Marrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirce Marrero having to interfere. Cloyo Vagrandes short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Quirce Marrero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Falesia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carricola UD's performance. The match ended with a win for Carricola UD.
