Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gerardo Guerrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polo Gene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Andrin Marines hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Román Llorca hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Horizonte got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Lorenzo. 16 minutes into the match, Asteri Goyanes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Horizonte's Jordi Griful. Jordi Griful was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Polo Gene was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Arcadio Rosario capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arcadio Rosario really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of Horizonte booed when R.C Huelva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrin Marines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horizonte's Jordi Griful played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ametz Ruiz in the 35th minute of play. Ametz Ruiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jordi Griful having to make a save. Jordi Griful came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by R.C Huelva's Asteri Goyanes. But to his dismay, Asteri Goyanes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half R.C Huelva were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

60 minutes into the game, Horizonte's Gerardo Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Polo Gene made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Baltazar Santander kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Gai Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Lorenzo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Horizonte's Ximeno Canyelles got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, R.C Huelva's Asteri Goyanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordi Griful narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in R.C Huelva's zone, Arcadio Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polo Gene came out of the goal and Arcadio Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horizonte's Gerardo Guerrero got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrosko Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Polo Gene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordi Griful made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ametz Ruiz in the 91st minute. R.C Huelva were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
