With a little luck, Torreblanca De Los Caños's Raymon Segarra got control of the ball when Atauri Japón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan-Carlos Alabern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quinto Pedrosa to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Juan-Carlos Alabern was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee ignored Torreblanca De Los Caños's protests and gave Fabio Roig a yellow card for diving instead. 93 minutes into the match, River Plate de Barcelona's goalkeeper Cerilo Huguet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan-Carlos Alabern. River Plate de Barcelona's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
