The supporters of Aostia f.c booed when River Plate de Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quexal Aguado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Acosta in the 22nd minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, River Plate de Barcelona's Atauri Japón dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Quexal Aguado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atauri Japón made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Aostia f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Casillas to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Agustín Casillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cerilo Huguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Sinforiano Sans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate de Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aostia f.c the free kick. Quexal Aguado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atauri Japón, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Amador Iniesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aostia f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Iniesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cerilo Huguet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cerilo Huguet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Abascal in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aostia f.c's zone, Atauri Japón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quexal Aguado came out of the goal and Atauri Japón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. River Plate de Barcelona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
