Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hostalric's Xorxe Higuera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Lazkao KE getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gomesano Benedicto hit a great ball. In the 4th match minute, Lazkao KE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrés Duran to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th match minute, Lazkao KE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. Eguzki Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xorxe Higuera, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With his leg Eguzki Bermudez managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Hostalric's Inko Casas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eguzki Bermudez made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Telmo Navas sent off a good shot on target. Inko Casas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inko Casas got free with Eguzki Bermudez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro in the 24th minute of play forced Hostalric's goalkeeper Venceslás Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inko Casas got free with Eguzki Bermudez in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pelayo Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eguzki Bermudez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inko Casas went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If João Pedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lazkao KE's Claude Ortiz got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Pelayo Ortega made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Telmo Navas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hostalric's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Navas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrés Duran charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrés Duran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Lazkao KE's Pelayo Ortega dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pedro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venceslás Balboa saved Hostalric from getting behind. A collision led to Hostalric getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Santana Bouzas hit a great ball. Lazkao KE's Ovidio Galo was substituted for Tomas Txatxu. Santana Bouzas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Pelayo Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Lazkao KE made a substitution. Eleuterio Benito replaced Xepe Moreira. After 68 played minutes Hostalric got a freekick which was hit by Santana Bouzas. 73 minutes into the match, Pelayo Ortega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venceslás Balboa. Hostalric's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelayo Ortega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 84 minutes into the game, Pelayo Ortega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Venceslás Balboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venceslás Balboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pelayo Ortega in the 88th minute. Eleuterio Benito kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cosme Fresnos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eguzki Bermudez. Lazkao KE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pelayo Ortega got free with Venceslás Balboa in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Hostalric's Sigfrido Huguet got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hostalric's zone, Pelayo Ortega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venceslás Balboa came out of the goal and Pelayo Ortega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lazkao KE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
