Diego Negro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xorxe Higuera in the 19th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Casas De Alenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inko Casas came free, but Diego Negro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Hostalric got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Navas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mino Casals during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Casas De Alenda FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mino Casals hit a great ball. Xorxe Higuera hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Pepe Casado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hostalric's Venceslás Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Negro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Higuera in the 42nd minute of play. Pepe Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslás Balboa having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pepe Casado was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Hostalric was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigfrido Huguet to maneuver through the defense. Hostalric's Venceslás Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Casado in the 52nd minute of play. If Inko Casas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Hostalric's goal looked a bit too open when Pepe Casado came free, but Venceslás Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Hostalric was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigfrido Huguet to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Casas De Alenda FC's Flavio Cuevas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venceslás Balboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anxo Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Casas De Alenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frisco Puig to maneuver through the defense. Bastia Jurado hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Casas De Alenda FC's Frisco Puig got a free kick in the 66th minute. Venceslás Balboa came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Casas De Alenda FC's Pepe Casado. But to his dismay, Pepe Casado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 76 minutes into the match, Casas De Alenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xorxe Higuera came free, but Diego Negro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venceslás Balboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anxo Zapata's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Anxo Zapata notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hostalric's Venceslás Balboa. Venceslás Balboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anxo Zapata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casas De Alenda FC's Anxo Zapata got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes, Casas De Alenda FC's Flavio Cuevas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Venceslás Balboa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casas De Alenda FC reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hostalric players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Casas De Alenda FC.
