Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xorxe Higuera started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Club de Pajas y Balompié's Gabriel Menendez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venceslás Balboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Hostalric's zone, Gabriel Menendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venceslás Balboa came out of the goal and Gabriel Menendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venceslás Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Carneiro in the 9th minute of the match. Mino Griego kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ariel Garate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xorxe Higuera in the 14th minute of play forced Club de Pajas y Balompié's goalkeeper Ariel Garate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roldán Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Venceslás Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roldán Vidal scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venceslás Balboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olívio Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslás Balboa having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Club de Pajas y Balompié's goalkeeper Ariel Garate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inko Casas. In the 34th minute of the match Hostalric got a corner. Club de Pajas y Balompié's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosme Fresnos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cosme Fresnos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ariel Garate quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlomagno Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Venceslás Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roldán Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslás Balboa having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Sigfrido Huguet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hostalric and the Club de Pajas y Balompié players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club de Pajas y Balompié booed when Hostalric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigfrido Huguet didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olívio Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xorxe Higuera struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ariel Garate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hostalric. 54 minutes into the match, Telmo Navas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Garate. Club de Pajas y Balompié's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Telmo Navas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Xorxe Higuera came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hostalric fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xorxe Higuera couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hostalric's goalkeeper Venceslás Balboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venceslás Balboa made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Olívio Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Ariel Garate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Higuera in the 62nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Gabriel Menendez sped through Hostalric's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Venceslás Balboa. Telmo Navas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Olívio Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Venceslás Balboa made a huge save. If Roldán Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club de Pajas y Balompié made a substitution. Tristan Grau replaced Mino Griego. 75 minutes into the match, Tristan Grau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venceslás Balboa. Hostalric's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tristan Grau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Roldán Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roldán Vidal in the 80th minute of play forced Hostalric's goalkeeper Venceslás Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Menendez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tristan Grau might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Venceslás Balboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tristan Grau ran back to his position shaking his head. Club de Pajas y Balompié's Carlos Costa was substituted for Valdo Noya. Club de Pajas y Balompié played a much better game than Hostalric and deserved their victory. The Hostalric players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
