If Ximeno Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD's Perico Abrego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fix Portillo in the 18th minute of play. If Fix Portillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Fix Portillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Manolo Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peio De la Rosa. Manolo Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 37th match minute, Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Flores to maneuver through the defense. Hector Nunez, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD's Perico Abrego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fix Portillo in the 40th minute of play. Ximeno Guerrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Abrego having to make a save. The supporters of Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD booed when Vilarromariz AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The supporters of Vilarromariz AFC booed when Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arxel Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peio De la Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD. In the 71stth minute of the game Arxel Feliu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilarromariz AFC's Peio De la Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Perico Abrego made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Fix Portillo sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Pericles Zapatero in the 75th minute really tested Perico Abrego's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Castulo Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arxel Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Peio De la Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD! The goalkeeper, Perico Abrego, was totally fooled by Vilarromariz AFC's Hector Nunez, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Castulo Camara fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD's protests and gave Castulo Camara a yellow card for diving instead. Castulo Camara hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Vilarromariz AFC's Hector Nunez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vilarromariz AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sant Jaume De Frontanya SD.
