Julen Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezker Barral in the 4th minute of play. Silban Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alforque's Iosu Segarra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Alforque from getting a goal against them. After having played for 10 minutes, Silban Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vinaroz 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silban Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, FC Vinaroz 's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Campoamor came free, but Julen Villa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezker Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosu Segarra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 23rd minute Ezker Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julen Villa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alforque's Frederick Mera got a free kick in the 25th minute. Abarrotz Monteros short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Iosu Segarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Macerio Gala fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alforque's protests and gave Macerio Gala a yellow card for diving instead. Abarrotz Montero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Iosu Segarra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ezker Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Julen Villa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Campoamor in the 34th minute of play forced FC Vinaroz 's goalkeeper Julen Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iñaki Contratas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alforque getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Macerio Gala hit a great ball. Clodoveo Campoamor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Julen Villa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abarrotz Montero to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Abarrotz Montero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alforque's Iosu Segarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iñaki Contratas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Ezker Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alforque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezker Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Abarrotz Montero put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Iosu Segarra. 72 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Campoamor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julen Villa. Clodoveo Campoamor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 77 minutes into the match, FC Vinaroz 's Abarrotz Montero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iosu Segarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Vinaroz 's Julen Villa got control of the ball when Clodoveo Campoamor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 played minutes Alforque got a freekick which was hit by Ezker Barral. 86 minutes into the match, Alforque's goal looked a bit too open when Abarrotz Montero came free, but Iosu Segarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Petronio Diaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alforque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vinaroz the free kick. The supporters of FC Vinaroz booed when Alforque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petronio Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iosu Segarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponciano Prats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederick Mera hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alforque players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Vinaroz .
