Iker Arribas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Desiderio Dobale made a huge save. In the 11th minute Iker Arribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Dobale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nuno Rajoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gentza Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fernando Parro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergi Laredo's late challenge caught a VENETINTO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergi Laredo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Alcor's Sergi Laredo got a free kick in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the game, El Alcor's Gentza Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Parro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fernando Parro came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by El Alcor's Nuno Rajoi. But to his dismay, Nuno Rajoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fernando Parro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Rajoi in the 40th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Arribas to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, El Alcor's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Arribas came free, but Desiderio Dobale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Zapico in the 58th minute of play forced El Alcor's goalkeeper Desiderio Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gentza Barral got free with Fernando Parro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of El Alcor booed when VENETINTO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oso Maestro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gentza Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Iker Arribas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VENETINTO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Gentza Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Parro having to interfere. Nuno Rajoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Parro. 1-5. The El Alcor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Alcor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
