The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Luar Cortes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 5 minutes, Gentza Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Alcor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gentza Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zuri Valverde made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gentza Barral sent off a good shot on target. Zuri Valverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentza Barral in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, El Alcor's goal looked a bit too open when Walme Otero came free, but Desiderio Dobale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandro Lagunas in the 14th minute of play forced El Alcor's goalkeeper Desiderio Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, El Alcor's goal looked a bit too open when Walme Otero came free, but Desiderio Dobale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luar Cortes in the 20th minute of play forced El Alcor's goalkeeper Desiderio Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gentza Barral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Zuri Valverde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Darrical CD's Zuri Valverde got control of the ball when Gentza Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 minutes, Luar Cortes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darrical CD and the El Alcor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luar Cortes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the game, Paquito Turienzo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. El Alcor's Josias Huerta was substituted for Paquito Turienzo. Castel Palomar kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Otero in the 31st minute of play forced El Alcor's goalkeeper Desiderio Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walme Otero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Desiderio Dobale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Otero in the 39th minute of play forced El Alcor's goalkeeper Desiderio Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Darrical CD's Luar Cortes got a free kick in the 40th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Gentza Barral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zuri Valverde. Gentza Barral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Rajoi to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Darrical CD got a freekick which was hit by Castel Palomar. The supporters of El Alcor booed when Darrical CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walme Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Gentza Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuri Valverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darrical CD's Walme Otero got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Darrical CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eladio Valverde to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Darrical CD's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Rajoi came free, but Zuri Valverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zuri Valverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentza Barral in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes El Alcor got a freekick which was hit by Cheche Dominguez. After a rather tough play, El Alcor's Iamín Pacheco got a free kick in the 81st minute. Desiderio Dobale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walme Otero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 89 minute of play. Darrical CD's Zuri Valverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josias Huerta in the 92nd minute of play. If Walme Otero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Darrical CD's Alexandro Lagunas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Dobale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Darrical CD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
